State Soccer delivers classes in NSW and SA. We pride ourself on being at the cutting edge of coaching practices and implement the internationally acclaimed ‘Play Practice’ approach.
State Soccer schools will provide:
- Range of soccer training options for all ages, budgets, genders, backgrounds and skill levels
- Safe learning environment for its students
- First Aider on site at soccer lesson
- Coaching staff that will hold current police clearances regarding child–related employment.

The Games Approach
The Games Approach to Teaching and Coaching Sports presents a clear alternative to traditional approaches that will revitalise the experience for the learner. It replaces mindless games and mechanistic training methods with creative and enjoyable practise that improves players’ skills and enhances their tactical understanding.

Theory + Practice
Developed by Alan Launder, an internationally known authority on the subject, Play Practice: The Games Approach to Teaching and Coaching Sports, provides both the theoretical basis and the practical plans for changing practice drudgery to an educational experience that young people are looking forward to.

Stimulating Lifelong Participation in Soccer
Our coaching staff are experienced in delivering lessons that will benefit all children in developing soccer ability and gross motor skills. Our sessions are open to all levels of ability, and we tailor to meet individual needs.
We provide an exciting, active and safe learning environment where children will be encouraged to be confident, independent, autonomous, as well as working as part of a team.
Our State Soccer School combines our European-style football practices and flair with the Football Federation Australia Curriculum. All of our programmes include the four core skills, referred to in the FFA Curriculum as ‘essential for all soccer players’, these are:
First Touch, Striking the Ball, Running with the Ball and 1v1.
